Had been here a few years ago and had a really great meal. I kept meaning to come back but never got around to it until last night. What a disappointment. Setting was lovely but almost nothing else worked. The free bread appetizer they brought out drizzled with pesto was excellent but that was it. Waited a very long time for food which I thought was a good sign that it would be fresh. Calzone was just OK but the sauce that came with it was not great. Then we had spaghetti and meatballs which was terrible. The meatballs tasted like the kind you buy in a bag at Sams Club. The pasta was overcooked and the meat sauce was unappetizing. We left most of it but was planning t take it home. I don't know why but I couldn't bring myself to leave practically a whole plate of food on the table. The waitress came by and asked how it was and I politely told her my opinion. She came back asking for more specific details. Then asked it I wanted some free ice cream. I declined and asked her to box up the food for us. She did also bring out some free gelato. Service was really poor. My husband ordered a beer and I had water. She never once came back to ask him if he wanted another beer or to refill my water. And there were only three other occupied tables. After we paid I got up to leave and realized she never came back with my boxed up food. I waited around and when she finally returned I asked her for the food. She said the chef had tasted the food after I returned it. Did I still want it? I could not believe this and said of course I didn't want it after their staff had tasted it. I never write reviews on Yelp but never again back to La Fontana.

Great seafood salad. Great spot for outside meeting. Very enjoyable. Yelp says "closed" but it isn't.

Been here a few times. Great brick oven pizza. Great mixed grill entree. All the food is great & always fresh. Looking forward to our next visit. They have nice outdoor seating too.

Consistently the best pizza in the area. Staff is always happy and on point and the chef is hilarious. Make sure you get the arugula pizza, the baked brie and the gelato.

Just had dinner here tonight. We weren't impressed at all. Pros: The location is convenient They have plenty of outdoor seating The bread with pesto is good Cons: The spaghetti tasted pre made (box style) The meatballs tasted like frozen meatballs from a discount grocery The sauce was very sweet (almost like a jar sauce) The tortellini tasted frozen The Parmesan cheese was the crumbly processed stuff from the pasta isle of the grocery store The staff were very disorganized (at one point trying to bring us more bread and entrées after we had finished our meal) To sum it up, we thought the prices were too high for a meal you can make at home after picking up about $10 worth of groceries from Publix. I mean even The Olive Garden has fresh grated Parmesan. And if you can't do better than Olive Garden, it's not worth the $40 price tag. We won't be going back.

This is a great place to eat at. The food is amazing, the service is excellent, and the ambience is wonderful. The owners are very attentive to the diners, as are the servers. You can eat inside or outside while you listen to beautiful music.

The food is very well done...the service is horrible. Order the take out or you will get an ulcer waiting there... 3 tables in the place and my server fotgot just about everything we requested. I ordered a very nicely done pasta and was given powdered cheese instead of Parmigianno ....server would disappear after a request and we would have to hunt him down after he totally spaced out and forgot. Took so long to bring us the fake cheese that my wifes food was cold by then.. so she did not eat it. Did not even take to go...we just wanted to leave.

We went there tonight after a suggestion from a flight attendant. Was not disappointed!! Caprese salad was wonderful as was the bread w pesto sauce. He had the penne w sausage and broccoli rabe and it was wonderful. I had the veal parm. It was ok. Would try something else next time. We had the ricotta cheesecake and as a suggestion from our wonderful waitress bea also the Nutella dessert. They were both wonderful. Had a great bottle of chianti and a wonderful homemade lemoncello to top it all off. Wonderful experience. Great atmosphere and service. Will try to make it back any time we are in the area!

Lovely dinner at La Fontana as always. We were a group of 8 and mostly all ordered pizzas. Great job coordinating! They all arrived together and steaming hot! It's thin style but packs a lot of flavor. My favorite is the Emiliana and Ferrara (if you like Gorgonzola).

  • Kelsey P.

When you first walk in the waiters are kind and sweet. The ambience is really nice like you actually walk into an authentic Italian restaurant. This place is my new favorite place to come to. It's perfect for dates. The food is amazing the pesto bread is the best we kept ordering more and it's on the house. I am most definitely coming back. I love it here.

We went late at 9:30pm and were still served as if it were middle of the day! The setting was typical coral springs, but the food, mama mia! I've been to Rome several times and been to the birthplace of pizza: THIS IS AS AUTHENTIC as it gets!!! You won't be wasting your time if you go here. The food is absolutely amazing. Don't forget to save room for desert! Grazie!!!!!

Hands down the best Italian food in Coral Springs. The service is great the owners are awesome. Everyone is super friendly. The business is clean and location is perfect. I come here a few times a week even if it's just for an appetizer. The waiters recognize me and have my drink ready to go when I sit

This review is in addition to the glowing review I just posted. I mentioned the excellent service but also need to specifically mention our waiter Ariel ! Great food - love the fresh bread and homemade pasta. The eggplant is awesome - not fried and delicious. The homemade gelato is fantastic , especially the vanilla chocolate chip and the hazelnut.

It always makes me nervous to eat in an empty restaurant, but the food in this place is fantastic! Plus, you get to watch an awesome travel DVD about Italy. It's just like being there. I'm not a fan of pesto, but the pesto garlic rolls are great. The chicken parm arrives at the table steaming hot. It's cooked in a stone dish in the 900 degree oven. Nice red sauce.. nice alfredo sauce... Mix them together!! Stay away from the iced tea. It tastes like dish water. The vodka sauce isn't that good either.

Awesome, beautiful, wonderful place to eat! Amazing free bread with olive oil. Outside seating with live music and a huge water fountain! I love that the managers and owner is always walking around, talking to people and making sure everything is going great, so any concerns can be brought up right away.

My favorite restaurant in Coral Springs! Food is always tasty but just be careful not to fill up on the yummy bread with pesto! Service is usually pretty good too. I've ordered many different things off their menu and haven't been disappointed

Food was good. Giving it 3 stars due to service. We were seated quickly, but it took over 10 mins too be waited on for the first time. Overall the food was fresh and delicious. I just wish the service was fAster. There didn't seem to be enough wait staff since I could see others trying to get their waiters attention.

The food was so great and I really had a good time. The owners are friendly, waiter knew his job. I will definitely come back again even though its too far from my house but I will definitely come back. This place sells italian food really good food, I ordered fettuccine bolognese (yeah now you know I love fettuccine bolognese) it was so great, actually I lied I didn't ordered it but one of the chefs there recommended it, and to what I have heard they make the pasta themselves and it was really good, and their garlic bread also really good (garlic bread one of my weakness) I had the desserts too, it was ice cream something sorry I cant remember the name but it was really good I enjoyed my self. I will surely recommend this place to my family and friends. It caters for families too, and its not expensive if u are low on the dollar and you yearning for some good Italian food. Really had a blast.

For us this is our family get together... cone her with our family at least once a month... the bread with pesto is amazing. The sagattini with salmon is to die for... and if you go please make sure you ordered the nutella calzone... OMG

Been here several times. The Pizza are always great. I especially like the one with spicy pepperoni and prosciutto. We had the steak with a Rosemary cream sauce and ravioli. It was delicious. In fact it made me learn how to make that sauce at home. Ambiance is great. I will say we have had slow service from time to time but the food always makes up for it. The owners are pleasant and you get the feeling the will do whatever is necessary to make you happy. We will be back again & again.

Eating here is an experience. Where else in Coral Springs can you actually sit outside, by a fountain and eat excellent food? They also have an inside area but I prefer outside, always. I love their pizzas. In fact just the bread and pesto that they serve you while you wait is worth coming here, it is delicious. Pizzas are topped with fresh ingredients and are my favorite here. Sometimes I am in mood for something light so I have a panini and salad, which serves two people for a light meal. My wife had the gnocchi last time and it was to die for. The staff is friendly as it gets and the two owners often come out of the kitchen to greet the patrons, smiling like owners should. Well, they are real Italians, accent and all, and they make sure your have a great experience. For desert, try their tiramisu and a good cup of cappuccino, hmmm - I'm salivating already.

I've always enjoyed the food, in spite of service not being good. It's never been too bad and the owners are absolutely amazing, very nice guys. Today though, the service was way too bad and the food wasn't any where near as good as it used to be. It took over an hour to get our food and the tortellini wasn't cooked all the way. I'm sorry but my love for this place has diminished over the years and I don't know if I'll be back soon.

Fantastic meal. Great service. The menu is eclectic and full of different options. The outdoor seating during this time of the year is really nice. We had the antipasto, chicken parmigana, and goat cheese / sundried tomato pizza. Will eat here again and would recommend in an area where chains are everywhere.

Friendly waiter but tie and apron had oil stains...probably not washed in a long time. Had the Parma pizza...dry and hard. The dough maker needs a few lessons.

Perfecto! We've eaten here twice now and the flavor and quality of everything is really top-notch. The owner is very gracious, very Italian and runs the restaurant well. The outside seating had great lighting and fans to keep us cool. We ordered the Grigliata di carne. It is a great presentation with a coal heated mini grill filled with lamb, tenderloin, sausage, meatball and chicken for the meats and the veggies were red pepper, eggplant, mushroom, tomato, zucchini, broccoli and potato. Wow! Absolutely everything was cooked perfect. The grill keeps it all so hot (we hate it when the food even gets warm, so this was killer). Flavors were right on. Each piece of meat came through without being overpowered by the previous one. There's enough to feed two easily. The veggies were amazing. The eggplant was the softest ever. Seasoned just enough to make it amazing while still tasting all the original flavor. We also had their pumpkin ravioli. First off, we are pumpkin fanatics. We always want a very strong pumpkin flavor. The ravioli fulfills the desire for a pumpkin pasta. This dish should be called pumpkin pie ravioli. Soooo good. We had it along with the meat dish and the flavor of the pumpkin came through as well. Very impressive. Had their house merlot and although it wasn't the greatest wine ever, it was very good and certainly good enough to work with all the meats. We liked the larger than average serving size and glass it was in. On another occasion (during the hurricane that passed by) we got a veggie pizza and a salad with sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. It was so good we knew we had to come back and try more dishes. The cost is reasonable for the quality and quantity. This now one our favorite places. Note: We were very skeptical of the one man band playing. When we arrived he was singing something that sounded like Sinatra meets Techno. However, he got REALLY good and we were delighted.

Not certain why people are giving bad reviews. Started coming last week and food presentation is great and the taste is authentic. Big fan of the meatball calzone. It has a different name but best I've found in the area. I've come early for late lunch and service has been wounderful. Thanks guys. Look forward to coming again.

Molto Bene! Friday night, nice weather, sitting outside by the fountain. Really nice way to go. They served us bread sopped in Pesto...i must say, dammmmmnnnn. This was good! With 9 of us we polished it in an instant. Waitress said she was bringing more....the 1st time I asked, the 2nd time and the 3rd time...I don't mean i got 4 servings, I mean it took too darn long. But oh so good. We ordered a misto salad for the adults....just had olive oil and vinegar..nice, but normal. We ordered two 12" pizzas...a marghaertia and a parma. They are wood fired which we love as compared to coal fired (too burnt for our tastes). Very good, authentic...we just felt it needed a bit more sauce. I went inside to use "il bagno" and the restaurant smelled amazing (the bathroom was fine too). I want to go again, next time trying a dish instead of pizza.

this is definitely not just a pizzeria, everything is homage and the atmosphere is perfect. I eat here on regular basis and occasionally they have live music and always have the best specials. the owners are two brothers that are very acoomendating and alway go out of there way to make you feel at home. i recommend this place to anybody for any occasion.

( See the edited portion of the review at the bottom.. I took this from 3 stars to 4 ) One thing about south Florida, there's no shortage of Italian restaurants... Generally they come in 3 types: Old world, family owned / operated gems that focus on traditional classics... the neighborhood bistro where garlic rolls are aplenty... and the food is decent.. and then the "bring a pie in for the kids, but that's about it" kind of place.. Interestingly, La Fontana is all 3. Ambiance: My daughter and I sat outside by the fountains. Weather was nice, and it was relaxing... until "Joe New Yorker" broke out with the camel un-filtered and nearly chocked us out until his wife suggested he not smoke so close to my daughter and I - Other than that, it's a nice place to chow down. Service: The only reason they didn't get that 4th star from me is service. When I order a beer, and there's an issue with the cooler, and the waitress brings me out a cup of ice to go with my beer, I have an issue. When the waitress brings me a warm brie appetizer but forgets the bread.. for 10 minutes... I have an issue. Thank goodness for a very attentive & eager busboy who saw my frustration & took over. Food: GOOD stuff! Truly! As soon as we were seating, we were met with a warm, Italian Tuscon bread striped with a pesto / garlic glaze.. it was THAT good! I could have had that all night long. We split an appetizer quite unique to Italian restaurants;.. a wheel of brie, baked to perfection, glazed in honey.. not butter.. with roasted walnuts... once the bread came, we chowed down... and loved every morsel! The menu was a really nice combo of comfort classics & creative inspiration... all at a surprisingly modest price. This place is definitely a value. My daughter had the Ravioli with spinach & ricotta - I had the lobster ravioli.. 8 large cheese filled pillows with chunks of lobster in the sauce.. not just in the ravioli... very very good! Her pesto sauce was exceptional.. not too garlicky... just right! There wasn't a bite left between the two of us. We were so full we never made it to dessert, but based on what we saw at other tables... desserts are a strong suit here. I"m going to give them once more chance in a few weeks when I have relatives coming down... because the food was that good. But if the service doesn't get better....there will be no more visits! ---------- EDIT: Just came back from our second visit in as many weeks... service was MUCH better and the food was exceptional ( Thus the extra star ) - I had the salmon pasta with a shaved truffle ( REAL truffle ) and pecorino cheese filling - unreal! The other dish we tried was the 4 cheese sauce gnocci - it was very good as well. I spoke to the owner about the service last time, he was very nice about it & explained how sometimes they do get swamped on a Friday / Saturday night, but that the service is usually very good. He had me at hello!

Tried this place for pasta one weeknight evening and were extremely disappointed. I had a pasta special which was pappardelle with mushrooms - it was absolutely flavorless except for the garlic, which I asked they go light on. I had to bury it in grated cheese and pepper to make it edible. They have on their menu a lobster ravioli in a creamy brandy sauce with pancetta and mushrooms - sounds delish no? My hubby ordered this but subbed tortellini instead of lobster ravioli. This was disgusting - tortellini sitting in a broth-like sauce (no cream in sight) with brandy and big chunks of pancetta. I insisted he send it back but he wouldn't and wound up eating more bread instead (which was hot and fresh). The service was good. The pizza looked good at the table next to us - maybe that's what's good here? Sorry but it was THAT bad.

Great place for dinner on the weekend. Never a wait, the food is flavorful, the service is attentive and educated about their menu. The food is fresh, everything from their pizzas, panini and pastas especially their lobster ravioli! Their anti pastas and salads are served cold and are perfect for sharing. The wine selection is great but they so not serve wine by the glass, but my family had no problem finishing a bottle or two. Lastly, each time I've dined here the owner has come around and to ensure everything was good. The live entertainment could be better but as a somewhat new and growing restaurant the funds may not be there yet.

Came here on a whim on a Monday evening. Live music in native Italian tongue is a great mood setter! So the free bread drizzled with a pesto sauce is really tasty. Pumpkin ravioli in a butter & sage sauce was perfect. Do pollo panini was pretty good if you're looking for a sandwich Cheese pizza was the BESTpizza I have had in South Florida a very long time.

Good pasta, pizza, and calzones at reasonable prices on The Walk? Score! I came here for dinner the other night and it was a really nice, casual, and relaxed experience that was friendly for families, dates, small children, dogs...you name it, they were there. La Fontana Pizzaria is one of the newer kids on the block but they've already started a following with their friendly staff (actually from Italy), yummy food, and outdoor ambiance. The store front itself is actually quite small, but they have a bunch of nice white umbrella canopies that serve as nice protection while dining. As you wait to order they serve up a really delicious pesto bread that's fresh out of the oven and just the perfect amount of soft and crusty at the same time...mmmmm. As for the rest of the food, I had a cheese calzone and it was quite generous in size and flavorful. You could share it with a friend if neither of you are very hungry, or get through about 3/4 of it if you are starving. At are table we also ordered a small pizza and spaghetti bolognese, and all of diners were satisfied and full at the end of the meal. This place isn't really fancy, but it's a nice spot for terrace style eating if you're in the mood for some fresh air as you eat.

Well, I went with a group of 8 ladies in a Sunday for lunch. Nice place, atmosfere. I wanted tried a a soup and they had just chicken or capelete soup. I ordered the chicken and came with some capalete also. It was terrible! Sour, smelling bad, everyone of my friends could smell... I was upset of course and just had a drink. Our nice server ( Brazilian like us) brought some drinks for us as a apology for the bad food. Look, in my opinion, the Chef should be the first to see and smell the food before serving. I can't understand how something like that can be serve to a customer. I wrote a email direct to the restaurant because I had very good reviews and I was the responsible for the meeting. Never get any answer. Hope the soup is not there anymore. Lea Dania Beach, FL

One word, five stars- GELATO! I have lived in NY, traveled to Italy, and the gelato (vanilla chocolate chip) is up there with the best of the best. Nice creamy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. Didn't try anything else but I would sure come back and make a meal out of dessert!

We go here often, great atmosphere! I recommend sitting outside by the pretty fountain while listening to live music and people watching. The warm bread drizzled with pesto is delicious! We always get extra pesto with our pizza to dip the crust! Friendly staff and pet friendly too. So far we have loved everything we have ever ordered--save room for the yummy gelato! If you can, ask for Carol, she's a great waitress!!

We had La Fontana cater a party we had recently. It was a pleasure planning our food order with the owner, Spartaco. The food was ready when he said it would be, there was plenty of food, and no surprises. We ordered penne pasta with vodka sauce, eggplant parmesan, Italian sausages with peppers and onions, grilled chicken, salad with balsamic dressing, and their bread with pesto sauce. Everything was delicious. Our guests loved the food - you know people love the food when they help themselves to multiple servings, and ask you where the food is from. This place was a pleasant surprise - an excellent Italian restaurant in a Coral Springs strip mall. For what they are trying to be - a small, family-run, Italian restaurant, they are hitting a home run... 5 stars, highly recommended.

Decided to pick-up lunch to go since it is usually busy for dinner. Ordered a chicken parmigiana with vegetables instead of pasta. The meal consisted of two chicken patties. I am not sure if they were processed or just cut uniformly. The sauce and cheese were average at best. The vegetables consisted of a slice of eggplant, mushroom, 2 slices of potato, 1/2 red pepper. They were placed into the oven to soften but did not really cook. They also presented a warmed pita bread cut up and drizzled with oil/basil. This was the highlight of the meal. There are many choices in the area to eat. I will be making another choice next time.

Absolutely beautiful food, and lovely owners. This is by far, one of THE best Italian restaurants I've been too IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. So, so, so delicious. The eggplant lasagna is the stuff of last meals, as is the pizza and the Truffle pasta. You would not guess from the strip-mall location. I really urge you to try this. Other comments cuss out the service, but for us, it was great.

This year's company Holiday party was the BEST yet! We wanted to take our 20 employees on an Italian culinary adventure. Our pilots were Spartaco and Tony ( two brothers from Italy who own and operate La Fontana. My staff was blown away by the seven course meal that was created by Spartaco's very own hands. All the pasta dishes were made from scratch; from pumpkin ravioli with a butter-sage sauce to parpardelli with roasted vegetables with a hint of truffles. We enjoyed the finest meats from Brisaola to filet on the grill. Our server Angelica orchestrated our experience like a master 5 star conductor. INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend La Fontana for anyone who wants to experience northern Italian cuisine without having to go to lago di Como. I hughly recommend La Fontana for lunch and dinner and breakfast if it was open in the morning! Thank you Tony and Spartaco for taking us on a beautiful culinary adventure, -The Health Rehab Team

Been here a few times for lunch. The spinach salad is fresh and tasty. Calzone is great too. Hoping that they expand so there's some indoor seating too. Service could be a bit snappier but they have good quality ingredients and have enjoyed every meal here.

I'm still here now waiting on the check, I couldn't wait to leave to write the review for this place..... DON'T GO HERE!!! I am warning you know don't waste your money. We ordered a chicken parm panini and it was 5 chicken TENDERS... Then we ordered lasagna and it looked like meatloaf... Also when we ordered water they got the ice from a cooler (the same that I would use at a park.) to receive the ice we saw them stick a cup in a cooler with their dirty hands... So all together food was gross and unsanitary!!! DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU

I enjoyed the pizza the first time I ordered here as take out. Unfortunately, the second visit resulted in such disorganized and poor service that I am sure it will be a long time before we return. Our sever kept forgetting our simple order and it took almost 45 minutes to get our salad while diners with a different servers came and went. He actually came to our table to ask how everything was and we had yet to receive anything including our bread. Flustered he brought our bread and salad. When we asked another server an hour into service to check.our order it was obvious it had never been placed. By the time it arrived we just wanted to leave.

Down Home Charm. I really enjoy this restaurant. The owners are two brothers who take a lot of pride in all of the dishes they pump out of their small kitchen. With all of the dining tables located outside, it gives this restaurant a unique feel. I have to admit I wish they had some seating inside and maybe a bar to sit at. This issue should rectified itself once they take over and remodeled the old Quiznos right door. I always get the Lobster Ravioli, the house salad with no olives, and the homemade focaccia bread, all to go. I walk in, grab a couple of Miller Lites from their front cooler, and stand at the counter and shoot the $hit with the owners while my meal is being prepared. Just nice guys and so are the servers. I drink my beers, get my food and I'm gone. The house salad comes with a balsamic vinegar based dressing with fresh parm cheese sprinkled on top. No iceberg lettuce here, just nice mix of fresh Italian lettuce. I love the saltiness of the parm with the bitter lettuce and finished with the sourness of the dressing. The meal also comes with homemade focaccia bread. This bread looks like a pita and is shaped like it too, but it doesn't tastes like pita bread. Does that makes sense...LOL. Their bread is fluffier than a pita and the pesto sauce they drizzle on top takes it to another yummy level. The ravioli is served in a light cream sauce and are F'ing delicious. The nice sized ravioli have a good flavors and are filled with a good portion of lobster. I always add some extra parm cheese on top just because I love it:) Overall, I have NEVER had a bad meal here and I highly recommend it if you don't mind sitting outside. Or, you can get your food to go like me. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

Well as said at the end of my previous review, "I will definitely come back!". That is true! Last night I went here for dinner, and they remodeled! Now there is indoor seating. I was thinking that this is great for when it is raining or during crepuscular times with mosquitoes. The food is delicious as always, I tried the Spicy Salami Pizza, which was delicious. Although, the spaghetti is transcendent. Since there is outdoor seating, it makes a very dog friendly restaurant. I always felt that Coral Springs needed an authentic Italian restaurant, that was very casual. Then La Fontana opened.

Unfortunately, I was subject to a comedy of errors during Saturday night service. This place is one of a few in the area that has beautiful outdoor dining space. They get it wrong, though, by having what looks like two hostess stands without a clear method of where you are supposed to enter the space. Neither stand had a person, so is it self seating at that point? When you walk into the restaurant looking confused, none of the staff standing around give you a clue. It turns out that the right answer is that the stands are unmanned, but you are supposed to wait at the empty counter until someone comes over. Waiting an unreasonably long time before being greeted--usually not a big deal--is more noticeable when you're thirsty and/or make one of those decisions where you agree to not go wash your hands until someone comes over because you don't want to miss hearing about the specials. Other folks in the area are getting hit up with their admittedly delicious pre-meal pesto drizzled bread, not us. We order a caesar salad and a chicken/pasta dish. The salad hits the table with no cheese whatsoever and creamy italian dressing. I bring it to the attention of the waiter who dropped it off and verbally request the bread, since we're the only table missing it. He brings a side plate of cheese and the proper dressing for the romaine pile, then bread. At the risk of sounding too picky, I won't go any further than mentioning the pre-conceptions one starts to develop about an "authentic" italian place that charges $10 for a salad and uses boxed croutons. During the lull between courses, we hilariously overhear a table in the vicinity send back overcooked fish, only to have the waitress return it to the table 5 minutes later saying the chef thought it was fine so they were not going to re-make it or offer her anything else. That's what you want to hear! The chicken dish hits the table, no offer for grated cheese? Even olive garden would offer me that, dude. This place must be in a parmigiano shortage after the salad oversight. Much to our dismay, we cut into the chicken and it isn't quite as unprocessed as we'd like. Reconstituted chicken is usually only an issue that springs up before 6pm at asian buffets, and yet I'm lucky enough to find it in a $16 dish. Chicken moved to the side plate, I enjoy the pasta underneath it with what's left of that bread. We stop eating and are visibly done with our meal for a while before anyone comes over. I ask for the pasta to be boxed and the check. They take the plates and someone else comes back 15 minutes later with the check. "Where's the pasta," I ask. We see one waiter go over to the other and ask about it, he points to my plate of pasta, which has been sitting on the plate...unboxed...on the open, dirty, busboy prep station for these full 15 minutes. We see him then box it up and bring it over without mentioning the indiscretion and potential food contamination. Full disclosure: I had been here once before and really enjoyed the pizza. I won't go back, but if you do, stick with the pizza. Salad, chicken, fish....it's all russian roulette there.

Great atmosphere. Owners are extremely friendly and make you feel like you were in an authentic Trattoria in Italy. The food is delicious and authentic! The desserts are top quality.. Try the pizza stuffed with nutella with a scoop of ice cream on top!

Let me start by saying that I feel the food here is 5 star quality. My boyfriend and I dined here this past Saturday night. It was definitely busy. That's usually a good sign ;) We opted for an outside table bc It was gorgeous out and there's live italian music. Love that. Our server took about 10 minutes before he even got to us to offer a glass of water. He was a disheveled, sweaty mess and then it happened...he put his hand on the table and his fingernails were filthy. It was like the clouds of doom automatically rolled in over our table. My boyfriend was not happy about this. However, we were already sitting down so I told him to just chill and not think about it. Another 10 minutes later my wine came out. We got the burrata appetizer which was on special. Delish. Creamy fresh burrata, salty prosciutto and olives and crisp arugula and grape tomatoes were so perfectly balanced and I really enjoyed it. I will add that we had no salt and pepper on our table and by the time we could actually flag our server down to ask for some it was about 10 min till he noticed us. This annoyed my boyfriend beyond repair. I asked our server if he had any recommendation and he gave me a whole one recommendation. Ummmm...turn off. Since i was pretty much on my own at that point, I decided on the filet mignon and veal ravioli with house made balsamic vinagarette and a brandy (?) cream sauce. Yummy. My boyfriend also thought I made the better choice bc he got the chicken parm with penne and vodka sauce. He wasn't blown away. But chicken parm doesn't "blow anyone away" in my opinion bc it's so standard. He was expecting a creamy vodka sauce and it was more like a marinara....so I think he was a little disappointed. He was actually so irritated w our server that I don't think there was any coming back from that. When our food arrived we asked for parmesan cheese and server said "of course right away" 5 minutes later I saw him bussing tables. It was all very weird. In the restaurants defense, the owner noticed we were being ignored and attended to us immediately bringing us cheese, filling up our water glasses and bringing us more fresh (and delicious) bread. But by the time the cheese came our food was cold :-/ For dessert we ordered tiramisu. It was good. I'm partial bc my sisters homemade tiramisu is the best I've ever had in my life. Ever. Like I said. The food here is excellent. The problem was our server. And I did take note that other servers were way more attentive with their tables and put together. I would love to come back and try more dishes. As for my boyfriend, he said he'll never eat here again. That's a shame. Goes to show you that it doesn't matter how good the food is...service has got to be there too.

To each his/her own I personally loved this place. That said, when I endeavored to bring some friend's to share my find, it was not met with the same enthusiasm. To me, it's GENUINE Italian which I feel is what may turn some people (those accustomed to American Italian food) off. My advice... give it a try for yourself!

I decided to give this place a 2nd chance tonight after not being very impressed the first time I came here over a year ago. Well, I will never come back again. The service was terrible, and we waited about 20 minutes to get our check. I will admit that my pizza was good. It was a special, the Regina pizza, and it tasted very fresh. My mom's meal was so awful that I don't even understand why she didn't send it back. The pasta was completely stuck together, the mushrooms were mushy and slimy, it was drowning in oil, and it lacked any flavorful taste. Lastly, the music was beyond annoying and better suited to a retirement home. I know this is a popular place, but I truly don't understand why. I'll stick to Pizza Time and Pasta And for future Italian dinners!

Mmmmm, homemade pasta and wood oven pizza--YUMMMM!!!! My mouth absolutely waters just thinking about the homemade Lobster Ravioli. It is STUFFED with large identifiable chunks of lobster. Then covered with a brandy cream sauce. MMMMMM. I may have to make a trip there for lunch......

Fantastic and authentic pizza like your back in Naples. The owner sources all of his ingredients directly from Italy. One of the best thin crust pizzas I have had in south Florida.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
